Merry Christmas and happy holidays ladies and gentlemen -- its ben a heck of a year and I hope you all continue to endure while also being in gratitude.

By the way, I've been playing Genshin Impact on and off since its launch in September and I was thoroughly impressed by this fan-made cosplay video done by Lightrefraction.  I have to say, it was quite impressive and is already a massive hit with the Chinese community-- hopefully the FFXIV fans can soon come up with one...

 

By the way, FFXI veterans-- do you all remember this wonderfully made fan-movie from Aladora that she made back in 2004?  I remember having joyful tears in my eyes the first time i watched it and we talked about it for years on the Allakhazam forums. Brilliant stuff...

Also a shout out to Soken and the entire Music team-- if you are reading this, I will please want this wonderful song for the New Nest at Ishgard's Firmament on orchestrion roll.    Hands down one of the most wonderful compositions made-- breathtakingly wonderful.

FFXIV patch 5.4 Trailer Unleashed...

 ...And it is superbly exciting.

PS5 - Play Has No Limits - My Beautiful Beast + FFXIV new artwork

Yes indeed, ladies and gentlemen--

My new PS5 is a beautiful lovely beast-- it's intuitive, it's incredibly responsive, it's gorgeous inside and out-- it even does my laundry and feeds me grapes.

And FFXIV runs just fine on it-- it essentially plays it as a PS4 emulator and has excellent load times. 

Speaking of FFXIV, new artwork has just been released on the official site for patch 5.4 which will be arriving in early december.  The artwork is quite spiffy and there seems to be an Ascian cleverly hidden within... interesting.

Very interesting indeed.

First Information On Final Fantasy XVI!

Yes indeed, great ladies and gentlemen, we have the official first few gems of information from the new official website for Final Fantasy XVI!   I am thoroughly excited for this game not only because Yoshida is producing and Takai (from XI and Last Remnant) is directing; but also because I have been fortunate enough to get the PS5 pre-ordered -- I'll finally get my hands on this beastly console on November 12th!

The new information unleashed has a wonderful summary about the main character and some lore about the nations that make up the world of Valisthea-- and for me, that is utter bliss!  You guys who are my regular readers all know how much I absolutely love the lore of all the Final Fantasy and Last Remnant games.

The art work is truly phenomenal and I'm already beginning t speculate at how the environments will help bring this wonderful new world to life in all its vibrancy.  I also really appreciate the additional messages from both the producer and the director that are posted on the site, so be sure to give that a read as well and follow the game on their official social media!

Final Fantasy XVI trailer unleashed at PS5 event...

 ...And it is absolutely brilliant.

This is what I love about Sony when it comes to the PlayStation series-- they don't mess about when it comes to unleashing the excitement.  As expected, our legendary Yoshi-P is producing-- and before you guys all gasp in dismay, saying "he lied to us!", look at this way-- nobody really asked Yoshida the corrcet question.

He's producing, not directing it... besides, I had joined other watchers several month ago in proclaiming that he will undeniably have hands within the development of FFXVI-- after all, it's his business unit that is involved.

But enough of that-- here's the lovely trailer...

Live letter From The Producer LIX Unleashed today!

Yes indeed good ladies and gentlemen--- and first of all, it continues to warm the heart that Yoshi, Foxclon, the entire Dev team and the entire playerbase are staying healthy, safe and making strides to keep spirits high.
