New Rising event 2021-- and Tales of the Twilight update!

Yes indeed great ladies and gentlemen-- in addition to the Live Letter stream today which was conducted along with the stress test for the Mana data center, the Dev team have just released the latest series of the Tales of the twilight.  

I also very highly recommend the previous FFXIV "Tales" which first began in 2014-- they contain truly amazing stories on several of the important NPCs within the game and provide incredible insights into the phenomenal lore:

• Tales From the Calamity
• Tales From the Dragonsong War
• Tales From the Storm
• Tales From the Shadow

Also launched today was 2021 Rising event which marks eight years since FFXIV relaunched as 2.0.  This year's tale was a little more subdued than expected but highlighted a wonderful one-on-one with Yoshi-P's in-game charcater -- which was quite fitting, to be honest.  Have a play through and tell me what you think...

FFXIV NPCs that I wish would take more center stage in Endwalkers

Godbert Manderville-- say what you will but I've been predicting it for years-- he and Julyan are the Final Primal/Mega Bosses of this game

Karasu-- I consistently find his theatrics hilarious






The six "Buki" brothers (as I like to refer to them)-- I'd wish there were more quests surrounding them




Briardien, his sibling and the whole "Hogswarts" crew-- I look back and I'm still stunned at how much I enjoyed those quests. Plus it's always interesting to constantly see him play the part as Hildy's foil.
