Absolutely spiffy, ehhh? Speaking of which, looks to me that the WoL is wearing Corsair gear, which might essentially be (potentially) one of the two new job classes that Yoshi-P announced. But what could the other job be?
The only clue or hints we have so far is the Turtle Ninja T-shirt that Yoshi wore-- which got me thinking, could he be referring to one of the Turtles games called "Turtles In Time"? If so, could time be a factor for the new job? Even more intriguing are the initials-- TMNT
Wait a moment-- what if those initials meant Time Knight???
Hmmmm.
Indeed, just today on Discord I already discussed a second possibility of the other new melee job perhaps being called Void Knight. Maybe even a weapon-wielding Void Knight or Void Master? I admit, "Void Master" does sound a bit awkward, plus I believe a couple games out there already use the "Void Knight" term-- remember that the SE Devs are always adamant about originality.
However, let's go back into the lore for a moment. Before the Garlean empire absorbed Landis --Noah Van Gabranth's original homeland-- one of their cities named Mannatheihwo was home to a company of mage-knights. These mage knights were powerful and seemed to utilize certain affinities with the elements (including void-related magics?). Could these mage-knights be the new job class called "Time/Void Knights"?
Wait-- I got it-- VOID MAGE, VOID MASTER, VOID KNIGHT, VOID TEMPLAR. Or simply a TEMPLAR that uses Void based skills-- like a mage-knight.
*(Gives a another silly smirk)*... a weapon-welding Templar "mage-knight" with Time, Void and maybe even Geomancer skills requiring elemental affinity as a possibility. Yes, that's my take on it-- sure, this could be a silly thought, but weirder things have happened. Time will tell-- literally.
That said, let me post up all the slides I captures during the live broadcast...
