It really has been a while since I bothered to post -- or even play the game for that matter. However, I've now come to the conclusion that one -- ONE -- of the elements that FFXIV now needs is a return to some of the Allagan Empire storyline.
Yep. Just give me more of the Allagan Empire. Lots of it. An avalanche of it.
I had asked for this on the official forums back in 2013 and I won't tire of asking... why? Ultimately because their story holds the key to a lot of mad mysteries. In fact, I expect expansion 8.0 to send us to the past so that we can fully comprehend this magnificent civilization (similar to how in the WoTG expansion for FFXI, we were able to be transported to the Crystal War era).
