The phenomenal Yoshi-P just released his Letter From The Producer XLVI today and announced the release date as August 27th, 2013. (click to see spiffy details regarding the standard pre-orders and Collector Editions bonuses)... can't wait to get my Light helm and Behemoth barding.
The legendary Yoshitaka Amano has also created a new art masterpiece for the Collector Edition's box...
(Just in case you were wondering, that's Legatus Gaius Van Baelsar to the left... took me a minute or two to figure that out. Must be those horns and cape innit?). And here's the new Tour of Eorzea part 2 video...
At exactly between the moments of 2.31 and 2.40 in the video, I saw my beloved Limsa and had instant goosebumps from sheer excitement... she's looking excellent, innit? Thank you Yoshi-P, thank you Soken, thank you Dev Team... you guys have delivered my home back to us in spectacular fashion... Arigatou gozaimashita.
Was thoroughly impressed at how awesome and all the environments are looking.. and those stunning beaches in La Noscea... will be lovely for us to run into the Admiral Merlwyb out there, yes?
