FFXIV LIVE Letter Part XLV Announces Patch 4.4

...To be Titled "Prelude in Violet" which seems to be an obvious nod to the next expansion 5.0 to occur in (Garlemald?).

This is wicked.

First of all though; yes indeed, its been over six months since I updated the blog and as some of you know, real life has been hectic but great.  That said, lets proceed right into the new details:

We also got a new trailer of the Final Fantasy x Monster Hunter World collaboration event!

Eorzean Encyclopedia Volume Two Announced! Yessssss!  Can't wait until the pre-order commences so I can get my mitts on this!

Other information includes, the The Feast Regional Championship, the next of the Four Lords battles (Suzaku - Normal and Extreme modes of course), more Hildibrand Adventures, new Grand Company rank finally unlocked (Captain rank!) and more depths to the Lost Canals of Uznair treasure maps.

New dungeons we can expect are The Burn (which is apparently MSQ related) and Hard mode of Saint Mocianne's Arboretum.  Other new raids are Omega: Alphascape (both normal and savage) plus the conclusion of the Doman Reconstruction trade-ins quests.

For housing, we will now be able to get Mannequins (just like in FFXI) and they will be able to sell the gear displayed on them (apparently, in bulk).  Speaking of FFXI, it seems that the Vermillion cloak (see image below) will be a drop from Pagos.  Yes indeed, the same Vermillion cloak that was one of the foundations of sooooooo many linkshell dramas back between 2004 to 2006... will be indeed be obtainable from the new Eureka Pagos which is to be released in Patch 4.36 on August 7th, 2018.

A new puzzle jumping games was also shown which can apprently be accessed via the Gold saucer... plus more of these types of puzzles will become available on other iconic locations around the game... I'd vote Pharos, one of those massive trees in Gridania and possibly a certain location in Ishgard

More to come while I finish editing together all the new information!
