FFXIV Patch 7.56 releases Beastmaster limited job -- but it is an unnecessary complicated MESS.

Indeed gentlemen and ladies -- patch 7.56 arrived a couple days ago with the release of the continuation of the MSQ and the long awaited Beastmaster limited job class.

The concept of the job class is intriguingly peculiar and interesting -- however, the implementation is a slew of absolutely confusing complicated mess with a hint of absolutely stupid randomness that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.   After I dutifully leveled the job to level 50, tested out the viability of all sorts of battle mechanics and the unique skills using the various pets, here is my verdict:  What a beautiful absurd over-indulgent, frantically busy MESS.   And honestly, Ozma should stop making games -- I'm very surprised Yoshi-P let him create this silly madness -- TBH this is not the time or place to be making complicated messy nonsense job classes.  Yes indeed -- Ozma has failed the lads on this one.

Some of the controls are all over the place and the RNG for some of the captures are insanely absurd -- for instance, my score line for capturing the Zu mob in Pharos is currently 0 - 15.  Many other players will tell of their horror stories of trying to get other mobs like the Chimera.

And all those FFXIV influencers yapping online with their guides on the "Crucible of the Unbroken" should hold their horses and cease being all cavalier as if its an easy event to accomplish -- in my authentic no-holds barred opinion, that is absolute chicanery and false pretense -- in EVERY single Crucible guide I've seen on You Tube, these lads were wearing the full Beastmaster AF gear which gives them a 35%+ boost in ALL stats across the board.

I'll explain -- for context, your BiS gear when you get into the first board barely breaks 1000 HP -- with the AF gear, you're getting anywhere from 1300 to almost 1500 HP.  And don't even get me started at the insane damage they were able to be unleashed at that point.  If I didn't know any better, I would speculatively wager that all those lads have had AGES to nail down the truly annoying specifics of this job class.

Yes indeed -- I said it.

Meh.

I'll return to finishing this blog post another time -- I'm too irritated with the game at the moment to bother expressing the rest of my gripes with this convoluted mess.
