Ferne Obtains Odin's Mount, Sleipner!

Awesome Ferne has hit us yet again with another tease on the Dev blog... nah, not on the Lore (I wish!)... but with the spiffy new image of Odin's mount being brazenly ridden in the Ul'Dahn deserts...

Well, okay... sure it wasn't him and it was just the mysterious "Project M" messing with tools... but still... could this be a hint at future mounts? I totally want... and I may get annoyed looks from my Chocobo and Magitek but I totally want.  Yep.

And that's not all... Ferne had also posted up a previous blog on the 21st of June regarding some spectacular artwork...

Spiffy, innit?  Until later, take care and be well!

Arcanists, Scholars and Summoners video!

Once again, Yoshi-P and his Dev Team have rendered me utterly speechless.  The legendary lore master Ferne just updated us on the Dev Blog with this video...

Dragoon and Black Mage were always my favourite class in FFXIV 1.0 but now I'm very sold on these new jobs (especially Summoner).  Will continue posting up more great info from E3 2013 as they are released.

New FFXIV: ARR Trailer "Crystals Call"

Yes indeed ladies and gentlemen, no words are necessary...

It's beautiful... Limit Breaks, actual game play (geez, was that the Buster Sword?) and lovely images from the three starter cities.  Not to mention I'm totally liking the more sinister looking Gaius and his entourage, Omega, a bearded Cid... and my the Twelve... was that Travanchet at the very end?

Also, as we all saw and heard yesterday, not only is ARR coming to the PS4 (do I already hear a bundle in the making?); but we also saw a new trailer for the much awaited FFXIII-Versus... which is is now Final Fantasty XV

And Kingdom Hearts III...

Totally spiffy and I shall update with more official info as they are released...  and as always everyone, please remember that all the official videos and images from SE were used here strictly for fan purposes; and all the product, system names and/or company logos remain the registered trademarks of Square Enix.  Copyright (C) 2010-2013 SQUARE ENIX CO. Ferne presents: Drunk Moogles and Alphinaud "twins"?

...Yep, he's teasing us again.  He just posted up an update on the Dev blog prior to boarding his plane for E3 2013...(he definitely must have been humming John Denver's "Leaving On A Jet Plane")

Question now is... are these two young Elezen the same as Alphinaud?  Remember this image below from the Nico Nico event...

So there are actually two (or even three) clones of this guy?  Who is he really?   Why do I think he has ties to both the Circle of Knowing and the Garleans?  What the heck is going on here?   By the Twelve... what if he is related to the Holy See at Ishgard or even another psychotic member of House Darnus?

Hmmm... and from what Ferne wrote, it seems he appears in my beloved Limsa's opening scene.   This should be extremely interesting.

Next up is the previous post on the Dev blog in which the great and legendary Soken gave us a spiffy new peek at him and his crew so epic that their own socks were blown.  Literally...

From his letter, they just completed the soundtrack for the trailer they intend to show at E3 this week... and they got none other than the magnificent Scott Martin Gershin to put finishing touches on it as well.  Quick pause... if you don't know him, allow me to re-iterate.  He's the wickedly awesome sound guy that worked on Gladiators, Kill Bill, Chronicles of Riddick, Underworld, Troy, Blade II, Shrek and even Hellboy II... yeah, I too had to whisper "My God"

Well, until later everyone, be well... and I shall swiftly update with more news as they become official.  As always everyone, please remember that all the official videos and images from SE were used here strictly for fan purposes; and all the product, system names and/or company logos remain the registered trademarks of Square Enix.  Copyright (C) 2010-2013 SQUARE ENIX CO.
