Where the heck is that new city? Methinks its on the moon-- and might be a new secret player hub that we can access once we finish the Endwalker MSQ-- we shall see. In the meantime, can we please applaud Estinien appearing Tiamat or Vrtra? Spiffy ehh?
Other revelations from the Keynote address:
New job Reaper is similar to the Void Mage Knight I predicted! I freaking called it both here on my blog and on the official FFXIV forums --- although I got the job class name wrong, my guess was so very close! Very very excited to play this and looking forward to gearing my "RPR" job with a lot of really great gear I have from my Dragoon job. Yoshi confirmed the starting level to be Level: 70 and the quest starts in Ul'dah-- note that additional requirements include having the Endwalker expansion including having any single job at level 70.
Also freaking called it again on the official FFXIV forums that Old Sharlayan would be the next player hub--- and it looks very much like how I would expect it to-- beautiful, serene, marble-like and in light colour tones. Excellent. We also got to see Alisie's and Alphinaud's father, Fourchenault! They also showed a really posh looking manor that is undoubtedly the Levellieur residence-- wonder how messy the twin's chambers are?
